    Vernon R. Stanley, MD, PhD is presently a practicing Emergency Physician and Regional Medical Director for a physician management group. His experience includes over 30 years of emergency medicine - 20 years at the Charleston Area Medical Center, Charleston, WV, one of the largest cardiac centers in the country and a Level I Trauma Center.

    He holds the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, MO and the MD degree from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA.

    His teaching experience includes the following:

    * Teaching Electrocardiography

    • Eleven years Adjunct Professor at Philadelphia University, Physician Assistant Program.

    • Ten years Adjunct Professor at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.

    * Visiting Lecturer 2009- Drexel University--PA Program

    • He has lectured electrocardiography widely to paramedics, physicians, nursing staffs, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and medical students.

    Fifteen year nationwide lecture circuit to physicians, nurse practitioners, nurse anesthetists, nursing staffs, medical students, emergency first responders, paramedics, and EMTs. He has presented seminars for the National Conference of the American Academy of Physician Assistants in 1996, New York, NY,- in 1997, Minneapolis,MN,- in 2007, Philadelphia, PA and- in 2008, San Antonio, TX. Sponsors of his seminars include Physiocontrol, Marquette ElectronicsGenentech, InPhynet, and Southeastern Emergency Physicians.

    • Two years Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Virginia Military Institute.

    • Seven years Adjunct Professor of Electrical Engineering at West Virginia University Institute of Technology.

    • Eight years Adjunct Professor at Mountain State University, Physician Assistant Program .
