Vernon R. Stanley, MD, PhD is presently a practicing Emergency Physician and Regional Medical Director for a physician management group. His experience includes over 30 years of emergency medicine - 20 years at the Charleston Area Medical Center, Charleston, WV, one of the largest cardiac centers in the country and a Level I Trauma Center.

He holds the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri - Rolla and the MD degree from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville.

• Nine years Adjunct Professor at Philadelphia University, Physician Assistant Program.

• Four years Adjunct Professor at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.

• He has lectured electrocardiography widely to paramedics, physicians, nursing staffs, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and medical students.

• Two years Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Virginia Military Institute.

• Eight years Adjunct Professor at Mountain State University, Physician Assistant Program .
