Important 2019 Announcements:
- All of our courses have been migrated over to a new, upgraded platform. If you ordered prior to April of 2016, you may need to be moved to the new platform. Please use the Contact Us form to request this migration.
- Starting in January of 2019, all new course orders will be assigned a time limit as follows:
12-lead ECG Course – 12 months from date of purchase
Animated Rhythms Course – 7 months from date of purchase
50 Case Study Course – 1 year from date of purchase
Which of your ECG courses is the best choice for me?
In general, the courses run the gamut from Basic to Advanced and would best be categorized as follows:
- Comprehensive ECG Course (30 hrs Cat I CME/CE): 12-lead ECG Interpretation Course
- Basic / Introductory ECG Course (6 hrs Cat I CME/CE): Animated Rhythms Course
- ECG Review Course (13 hrs Cat I CME/CE): 50 ECG Case Study Course
For more detail on the courses, we direct you to the Quick Course Comparison link. For the most detail please see “Course Overview” under each subheading.
If considering all three, we generally recommend that the Animated Rhythms Course be started first, then progression to the 12-lead ECG Course and completion with the 50 Case Study Course for review. However all three are stand-alone and may be taken at the provider’s discretion based on appropriateness and experience level.
I would like to receive training to be a Monitor Technician. Would your ECG courses qualify me to do this?
No. Our online ECG courses are ideal for continuing medical education or for further training as a student while enrolled in an accredited college or university program. But taking the courses along does not issue an ECG or Monitor Technician capability.
Although we do not have a partnership with these programs, they have come recommended by past clientele:
Why do you separate Rhythms and 12-lead Interpretation?
The topics of Rhythms and 12-lead ECG are taught separately, primarily to accommodate our wide audience of participants. Many of our providers find the Animated Rhythms Course a convenient brush-up course prior to sitting for certification or recert exams. The topic of 12-lead ECG is covered, comprehensively in the 12-lead ECG Course and in the follow up 50 Case Study (review) Course.
I completed the course but cannot locate my certificate?
If you have finished the course, you will need to submit your final exam for “final evaluation”. This will then take you to a page where you will select the best certificate of completion for your needs – General, CME or CE.
If you have have already printed your certificate and need to reprint, please login to your course, click “Continue Course” and you will be taken to the list of options from which you may print your certificate of completion.
Please note, if you completed your course more and 1 year ago, it may take us several days for our customer support team to retrieve your file in our system.
I made a purchase, but did not receive my confirmation email?
If you have placed your order and allowed time for processing, but have not received a confirmation email, we ask that you check your spam, trash or junk email files in case they have been transmitted to these locations. For future correspondence, please adjust your email settings to allow by email from “ECGcourse.com”. If you continue to have difficulty, please contact us.
I ordered my course but have not received my materials?

If the materials returned have been written in, highlighted, damaged, bent, torn or show any signs of use, your refund will be assessed less the retail cost of the book which is in used condition.
I finished the online course but cannot find the link to print my certificate?

My Animated Rhythm Tutorial is not loading or is not fully functioning?
To best utilize the Animated Rhythms, be sure that your system has the most recent version of Adobe Flash to ensure that the Animated Rhythms are functioning fully. Once the latest version of Adobe Flash is downloaded to your system, be sure that the computer has been restarted and that the upgrade is fully installed.
Recently, we have installed mp4 videos for Android users. These videos provide the full animated rhythm tutorial, but they are not interactive. To enjoy the interactive function of the Rhythms Course, you will need a computer that is compatible with Adobe Flash.
